Happy weeekend! Today I am going to show you some basic nail art I did. I am really into polka dots lately (get ready to see a lot in the next few days haha)! I used Essie Go Overboard, OPI Did It On ‘Em, and China Glaze White on White. Here’s a bottle shot!
I started with 3 coats of Did It On ‘Em for full opacity and then free handed on Go Overboard. I thought about using tape to make the lines straight, but I think the free handed lines turned out just fine, and they are really easy to do! Then I used a small dotting tool to make the dots! =)
I love the way this turned out! I think dots are a nice, clean way to do some fun, eye-catching nail art! All you need is a dotting tool (or a tooth pick or the end of a paint brush, etc) and the possibilities are endless =) What do you guys think? Are you going to try out some dots on your nails soon? Have a great weekend! Don’t forget to follow the blog and check out The Lacquerologist Facebook page! =)
