If you’ve been a reader of Casual Contrast for a while, then you may remember that I had my own little nail shop in Canton for a few years. I had such fabulous clients, and it really was probably the most creative environment I’ve ever worked in. This little snowflake manicure was originally created on The Lacquerologist but became a huge hit with my customers. I couldn’t let a holiday season pass without playing around with this motif and remembering all the fun snowflake manis I did at Body•Spa•Banquet!❄️❄️❄️
I decided to start out with a soft creme for this manicure – OPI Purple Palazzo Pants with an accent of KBShimmer Up To Snow Good. I did the polka dots with KBShimmer Eyes White Open and the snow flake with a white striper. I sealed everything in with two coats of Dr. Dana 9-Free Top Coat, which I love!
I’ve always said this snowflake made for the perfect January manicure – and I still feel that way. It’s cute and simple, and I love it with the dots. This could be the manicure that’s on my nails when the baby comes…how exciting! Is it snowing where you live?!
