Let’s talk about BOOBS. This is a topic of conversation that comes up surprisingly often when you spend a lot of time in groups of women. It seems that no one is ever happy with what they have, no one can find bras that fit, and there’s always some version of perfection everyone wants to achieve. Whether you take the route of accepting your body naturally, or taking matters into your own hands and creating what you want to see, I think that’s great. You do you! The products I am discussing today fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum (closer to the accepting your body naturally side) – Nip + Fab Body Bust Fix and Bust Fix Night.
I am a curvy girl. I’m 5’4″, 150 pounds, 42 inch hips, and I wear a 36G bra. That is if I wear a real bra – most days I just wear a sports bra because it’s more comfortable, easier to find in stores, and minimizes my chest. It’s not that I don’t like my breasts – I recognize that many women would love to be bustier or curvier, but it’s just that I’ve dealt with trying to dress these boobs comfortably since I was in middle school and sometimes it can be a pain in the butt. As I get older, I get more and more comfortable accepting them for who they are (let’s be honest – we all know that boobs can take on a life of their own!!) and not worrying about letting them out to play a bit more often, but then I have to deal with the reactions I get to them. Can’t I just live?!
I want to take a quick second to say that I know breasts can be an intense topic when talking about women’s issues. As women, our physical, biological form is always sexualized by society, men, other women and the media. We are critiqued if we show too much, if we show too little, if we’re too big, if we’re too small. You have the debates that break out around breastfeeding and breast augmentation. Not to mention the deeply emotional journeys breast cancer survivors and transgender women (and men) experience with their bodies and their breasts. I just want to make it clear that our decisions about our breasts are our own and they are all valid❤️
So anyway…I received Bust Fix and Bust Fix Night from Nip + Fab to review as part of two previous campaigns (you can read those [here] and [here]) but due to timing constraints, I didn’t do a full-on, long-term review of them then. Since these are pretty unique products, and since boobs always seem to be a topic of discussion, I decided to give these a try in my regular bath and body routine.
I was very cautious in my original reviews to describe these products as décolleté creams. It’s not possible that you put on a cream and your boobs grow three cup sizes – and I didn’t want people to think that! In fact, during the initial review periods, I really just used them on my neck and chest. The skin there benefitted, feeling more moisturized and youthful, but for this longer-term review, I wanted to really see if this made a difference when applied to the breasts. So for the last month, I’ve used Bust Fix in the AM and Bust Fix Night in the PM almost daily. And I have to admit: I love it!
Bust Fix and Bust Fix Night contain high-tech ingredient, cellactive®- FORM. According to the Nip + Fab website, this is a plant-based complex of active ingredients which supports the natural process of lipid deposition, lending fullness to the bust; it will reshape the contours of the cleavage area and optimally accentuate the feminine features. It also contains chronodyn™, a chronobiological cell energizer that tones and firms the skin. It triggers cell metabolism by stimulating the calcium release and the energy level. In addition, mangosteen extract sculpts and firms.
The Night version is basically a “super-charged” version of Bust Fix, and both have light fragrances and formulas that soak in quickly. Original Bust Fix has gel-based serum consistency with a slight shimmer, while the Night formulation is a bit creamier. I love both and suggest using them together, AM & PM. Nip + Fab even sells them together in a set for a discount.
My 30 year old, baby-free, 36G’s look pretty decent for the most part. I’m not 18 anymore, and I can personally tell that they weren’t as perky as they used to be, but at the same time, they’re definitely still youthful. My biggest complaint would be that the skin on my breasts feels thin and stretched, with faint stretch marks that are very noticeable when I bend over and my breasts are hanging (see, these are the things I’m thinking about during sex…did I remember to put on my Bust Fix this morning?!😂). The stretch marks and paper-thin feeling of the skin definitely made me feel even more insecure about my chest. Thankfully, these are the things that Bust Fix has helped with the most!
Over the last month that I’ve been testing Bust Fix, I have lost a few pounds, so that could contribute to the fact that my boobs seem a bit perkier, but I really think Bust Fix has helped. The skin is supple, moisturized, and healthier looking. They truly look perkier and younger. For the first time in my adult life, I look at myself in the mirror and think I love my boobs!!!. That, my friends, is magical!
Nip + Fab Body Bust Fix and Bust Fix Night are available for $16.25 each (100 mL tubes) or as a set for $27 on nipandfab.com. Personally, I love these products and am so glad I tried them. Self-care is always positive, and when it helps improve self-confidence, it is priceless. Not feeling too confident about your boobs?! Treat yourself (and the girls) to a little self-love and you may be surprised how your point of view changes❤️
